Hello Lovelies!

My name is Leah.

I am twenty-four years young, and we live in Columbia SC. To the right is a photo of me and Alistair, my husband. We got hitched on September 21, 2014 and haven't looked back since! Out life has been a whirlwind of craziness, opportunities, and divine interventions.

Alistair and I didn't plan on having kids soon into our marriage, but God had a much different plan when we found out we were pregnant three months after we got married. Harrison, our first son arrived a few weeks before we celebrated our one year anniversary in September 2015 (He's almost three now and I have no idea where the time has gone!). Shortly after having him, the desire to be pregnant again was heavy on my heart, and we made no attempts to prevent any more children. September 2016, right after Harrison turned one, we found out we were pregnant again and were ecstatic! We welcomed our second son, Camden, in May 2017. 

We bought our first house right before Camden was born. After praying for months, the Lord finally told us to plant our seeds and put down our roots in Columbia.

I am currently a stay-at-home-wife/mother, which can be pretty monotonous, but I am learning every day that I have to trust God more and more in order to not loose my mind, and to maintain my marriage. Chasing around two little ones is super exhausting! Why didn't anyone put a warning label on them? I love being a Momma, but he definitely keeps me on my toes. I also love using my essential oils to better the health of our family, so you'll probably be hearing about that occasionally. 

Alistair works an 80-9 schedule, so he gets to spend every other Friday at home with us. We love drinking coffee, going to the farmers market, playing board games, sleeping in(which is now few and far between), and watching netflix. 

I'm sure if you stick around that you will find out lots and lots of weird and interesting things about me. Maybe they'll make you want to read more (my ultimate hope), or maybe I'll scare you away. Either way I'm totally fine with your decision (freedom of unfollow?) because I know (most of the time) who I am, and why I'm doing this.

This is me, and this is my life, as I start afresh and take a new city with Alistair, my partner in crime, right by my side - learning to be a wife, a mother, and a friend.
